In 1908, Alfredo Di Lelio created a pasta dish for his wife recovering from childbirth: butter, pasta, and parmesan, tossed tableside with theatrical precision. Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks made it famous in 1927. The golden fork and spoon they gifted are still on the wall today.
Our take
“Yes, it's the original. Order the fettuccine Alfredo. Obviously.”
