One of Rome's most overlooked museums, housed in a stunning 15th-century palazzo steps from Piazza Navona. The ancient sculpture collection — including the Ludovisi Throne and the Galatian Suicide — is displayed in virtually empty rooms, exactly as it should be. Come here when the Vatican Museums feel like too much.
